Job summary

Pennrose Management Company is seeking a Property Manager for assigned apartment developments to drive financial performance, occupancy, and resident satisfaction. You will lead site teams, monitor budgets, ensure compliance, and report to Regional Property Manager. Strong communication and leadership required.

Experience in affordable and market-rate housing, budget oversight, and ability to travel between properties is expected; Pennrose Academy participation is encouraged to develop staff.

Qualifications

• Four years of increasing property management responsibilities.
• Knowledge of affordable and market-rate housing programs.
• Industry training credentials that authenticate understanding of rental housing programs.
• Requires a valid driver’s license, insured vehicle, and ability to travel between properties.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manage rent increases, rent collections and the eviction process.
• Market the property to high standards, optimize curb appeal and convert applicant traffic/waitlists to residency while meeting Fair Housing requirements.
• Understand affordable and market-rate program features to optimize financial and operational performance.
• Proactively manage housing partner subsidy programs and relationships.
• Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable and cash to meet obligations.
• Monitor utility consumption to optimize use of systems and related expenses.
• Inspect the property daily and address maintenance with safety in mind.
• Contribute to capital planning and budgeting, sharing best practices with colleagues.
