Job summary

AbbVie Inc. is seeking a Manager, Aesthetics Clinical Development in Irvine to lead data-rich documentation and reporting for clinical trials.

You will coordinate cross-functional activities, ensure scientific integrity, and drive timelines across multiple therapeutic areas. The role requires deep clinical study expertise, strong leadership, and the ability to mentor staff while coordinating with Therapeutic Area MDs and management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in science with 11+ years in pharma, or PharmD/PhD with 1+ year.
• Strong understanding of clinical study principles.
• Advanced ability to analyze clinical study data and generate reports/presentations.
• Experience leading teams and driving multi-therapeutic area programs.
• Experience supporting clinical research and drug development.

Responsibilities

• Prepare scientific reports/presentations for clinical trials using software and templates.
• Coordinate advisory meeting agendas, activities and slide decks.
• Comply with IQS documents, study protocols, and management directives.
• Lead study development applying current electronic document conventions to ensure integrity.
• Receive and complete tasks from function, Therapeutic Area MD, or staff on time; maximize productivity.
• Participate in teams for process improvement and review key decisions impacting timelines.
