Job summary

AbbVie seeks a senior clinical development leader to oversee execution and interpretation of clinical trials within one or more development programs. You will coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data supporting product strategy and regulatory submissions.

The role involves oversight of study timelines, safety data review, and collaboration with Medical Affairs, Discovery, and Commercial functions to align strategic aims.

Qualifications

• Medical Doctor (MD) or DO or non-US equivalent with relevant specialty.
• Minimum of 2+ years of clinical trial experience in pharma, academia, or equivalent.
• Ability to run a clinical research program of moderate complexity with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Design, analysis, interpretation, and reporting of scientific content for protocols, Investigator Brochures, CSRs, and regulatory submissions.
• Oversee one or more clinical development programs within a Product Development Plan.
• Provide in-house clinical expertise and coordinate translational strategies with internal stakeholders.
• Participates in CSTs or leadership roles, guiding cross-functional teams in development plans.
