AbbVie is seeking an Asset Strategy Leader to guide and execute comprehensive asset strategies from discovery through lifecycle, coordinating across Development, R&D, Regulatory, Commercial and Operations. This role requires broad cross-functional leadership, enterprise thinking, and deep familiarity with drug development and commercialization processes.

The position is on-site at AbbVie’s Irvine campus, with responsibility for global strategy, governance interactions, and ensuring alignment

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree required; Advanced (Doctoral-level or MBA) degree highly preferred.
• Relevant experience (5–8 years; 10+ years preferred) as a leader in pharmaceutical/biotech Commercial, R&D, Regulatory or Operations; deep expertise across development, commercialization and lifecycle.

Aufgaben

• Chairs Asset Strategy Team (AST) and serves as enterprise leader for pipeline governance.
• Articulates and gains endorsement of integrated Global Asset and Brand Strategy across development, commercialization and lifecycle.
• Ensure strategy aligns with Target Product Profile (TPP), Asset Plan and PDP and tracks progress with timelines and budgets.
• Collaborates with governance bodies and cross-functional teams to enable timely, multi-directional interactions and optimal resource allocation.
• Develops Go/No-Go decisions and presents data to senior management for program progression.
• Represents AST in external engagements when cross-functional input is required.
