Job summary

AbbVie seeks an experienced Asset Strategy Leader to guide the creation and execution of comprehensive asset and brand strategies across discovery through end of life cycle. This senior role requires broad leadership across Development, Commercial, Regulatory, Safety, and Operations, with strong cross-functional collaboration to optimize asset value and portfolio prioritization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; Advanced (Doctoral-level or MBA) degree highly preferred.
• Relevant experience (minimum of 5 to 8 years; 10+ years preferred) as a leader in a pharmaceutical/biotech Commercial, R&D, Regulatory or Operations setting; deep expertise in a relevant discipline associated with drug development and/or commercialization.

Responsibilities

• Chairs an Asset Strategy Team (AST) and serves as the enterprise leader for Pipeline Governance and senior management.
• Leads the development and endorsement of an integrated Global Asset Strategy and Brand Strategy for all aspects of product development, commercialization and lifecycle management.
• Ensures strategy alignment with Target Product Profile, Asset Plan and PDP, tracking progress with timeline and budget.
• Builds strong relationships with governance bodies and executives to enable timely, multi-directional interactions.
• Represents the AST with external parties when broad cross-functional contributions are required.
