Job summary

PPG's Aerospace business is seeking a passionate Program Manager to oversee the PLM lifecycle from concept through development to production and sunset for aerospace transparencies. You will lead cross-functional IPTs, manage schedules and budgets, ensure FAA/EASA/MIL-STD compliance, and serve as the primary customer interface across military and commercial programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline required.
• PMP certification strongly preferred.
• Minimum of five years of program management or engineering experience in aerospace or defense industries, with specific experience in transparencies or related components.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end program management across the PLM lifecycle (Gates 2-7).
• Develop and execute integrated program plans including schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Coordinate cross-functional IPTs across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement, R&D, and Operations.
• Serve as primary customer interface for all programmatic activities and manage stakeholder engagement.
• Oversee NPI and sustaining production activities, including transitions and documentation.
• Identify and mitigate program risks and drive continuous improvement and compliance with standards.
