PlanIT Group seeks an experienced tool designer to develop and optimize assembly tools for aerospace applications. The role requires strong expertise in Catia V5 or 3DX, 2D drawing creation, and cross-functional collaboration to align quality, cost, and schedule with tooling manufacturing plans.

Candidates should have 7+ years of tooling design experience in aerospace or similar industries, with the ability to obtain SAP within six weeks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years designing a variety of assembly tools for aerospace vehicles or similar.
• Minimum 1 year design experience with Catia V5 or 3DX.
• Ability to obtain SAP within 6 weeks of submission.

Responsabilités

• Act as liaison between designers, manufacturing, engineers, and tooling procurement regarding quality, cost, and schedule of tool manufacturing planning.
• Lead activities to improve processes within the tool design and planning product flow.
• Use Catia V5 / 3DX for design and create technical 2D drawings.
