Job summary

NORDAM in Tulsa, OK is seeking a technical writer to develop, author, and edit material for technical publications for Company products. You will apply knowledge of standards and industry practices to produce print and electronic documents.

Responsibilities include defining requirements, preparing manuals, operating procedures, and illustrations; reviewing data, diagrams, and catalogs; and ensuring accuracy to meet customer specifications. Some travel potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
• 7+ years of related experience in technical publications for aerospace.
• Experience with ATA iSpec 2200 and ASD standards is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, write and edit technical publications for products and processes.
• Define task requirements and prepare complete technical manuals.
• Create procedures for technical manuals, instruction books, catalogs and related publications.
• Review data, CAD models and catalogs to align content with procedures.
• Organize material and prepare for publication with appropriate visuals.
