Job summary

Gauss Management Research & Engineering (GMRE Inc.) is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join the Engineering Team at GMRE HQ in South Ogden, UT. You will lead integration of aircraft systems, supporting DoD and commercial derivatives through design, analysis, substantiation, and coordination of projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
• 10+ years of experience in a systems/engineering role.
• Active U.S. SECRET clearance required or ability to obtain.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and OEM guides.

Responsibilities

• Apply MBSE for architecture to requirements traceability.
• Coordinate test and evaluation to meet requirements.
• Develop and execute ground test procedures for testing.
• Determine methods of compliance for airworthiness certification.
• Support gate reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR) and action follow-up.
• Monitor QA/QC standards and report project status.
• Interact with clients to interpret needs and expectations.
• Review engineering deliverables and initiate corrective actions.
• Utilize DOORS, Jama, Cameo for requirement management.
