Job summary

Venus Aerospace Corp. is seeking a Senior Structures Engineer to own structural design and analysis across major aerospace components. You will work with GNC, propulsion, avionics, and systems teams, and contribute to flight qualification and testing programs.

The role requires strong CAD/FEA proficiency (NX/CATIA, NASTRAN/ANSYS), hands-on calculation skills, and collaboration across disciplines. ITAR compliance and a US work eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of related engineering experience.
• Proficient in CAD/CAE tools (NX/CATIA, NASTRAN/ANSYS).
• Able to perform hand calculations and first-principles analysis.
• Familiar with fatigue, buckling, and stability analyses.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, US ITAR eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Independently design and analyze major aerospace components or assemblies.
• Coordinate loads with GNC, propulsion, avionics, and systems teams.
• Support structural test campaigns and flight qualification efforts.
• Develop internal standards and documentation for the team.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in design reviews.
