Job summary

Divergent is seeking a Staff Structures Engineer to lead complex structural projects for aerospace vehicle development. You will drive design, analysis, and optimization across multiple programs while guiding a team of engineers in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications include 8+ years in structural engineering, strong CAD/FEA capabilities, and experience with aerospace loads and advanced materials.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• 8+ years of structural engineering experience.
• Strong CAD and FEA experience.
• Experience with aerospace loads, lightweight structures, and advanced materials.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design and analysis activities.
• Create and manage CAD models, FE models, and BOMs.
• Perform advanced structural analysis, optimization, and validation.
• Support manufacturing, testing, and prototype build activities.
• Drive root cause investigations and continuous improvement efforts.
• Mentor junior engineers and support technical development.
