Job summary

Parker Aerospace is seeking a Quality Technician to support factory operations by monitoring inbound supplier products and ensuring part availability for Manufacturing Operations. You will resolve issues, validate containment of nonconforming parts, and coordinate corrective actions with cross-functional teams.

The role requires 4–5 years in inspection or supplier quality within aerospace, proficiency in reading blueprints, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or higher.
• Experience working in or with Quality, Engineering or Manufacturing disciplines.
• 4-5 years of related inspection or supplier experience (Aerospace preferred) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in inspection methods and the use of inspection tools to evaluate parts.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day problems with supplier and internal products to make products available to Manufacturing Operations.
• Communicate with suppliers to solve issues and ensure product availability.
• Support and validate containment of nonconforming parts upon receipt.
• Assist in validating corrective actions upon part receipt.
• Serve as a liaison between external and internal functions to ensure premier customer service and drive continuous improvement.
• Review Supplier First Article Inspections, PPAPs and other quality documentation.
