Kaleidoscope, an Infosys Company, is seeking a senior Quality Engineer in Baltimore to lead cross‑functional quality activities and act as SME on design controls and risk. The role emphasizes aerospace quality and continuous improvement across projects.

The candidate should have PFMEA/PPAP experience, ISO9000/AS9100 knowledge, FAA Part 21 familiarity, and the ability to collaborate with manufacturing and development teams to ensure compliant, high‑quality products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Materials, or related engineering field.
• 8+ years of aerospace structures / Nacelle quality or manufacturing experience.
• 4+ dedicated Aerospace experience
• Hands on experience on PFMEA (Process Failure Mode & Effects Analysis) preferably aerospace structures / Nacelles
• Develop Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) documents, Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) deliverables
• Root Cause, Corrective Action using RCCA tools (PFMEA, DMAIC, Apollo, 5 WHYs, 8D) and related methods
• Knowledge of statistics and statistical process control (SPC) and customer interaction to drive quality improvements
• Create, review, and execute quality control plans and flow charts for materials and assemblies
• Strong understanding of ISO9000 or AS9100, FAA Part 21, and structural conformity requirements
• Proficiency with 3D CAD Software (Catia/3dx)
• Strong understanding of Aircraft structures / Nacelles, design guidelines, composite and metallic failure modes.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-department collaboration and act as SME on quality related activities.
• Consult on projects, offering expertise on quality, design controls, and risk.
• Create and review quality plans, PFMEA, and PPAP deliverables.
