Job summary

Kaleidoscope, an Infosys Company in Kent, WA, seeks a Supplier Quality Engineer to lead supplier quality activities and ensure AS9100 compliance. You will collaborate with Purchasing, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to qualify suppliers, mitigate risk, and drive continuous improvement.

The role requires 5+ years in quality engineering with leadership responsibilities, strong knowledge of AS9100/Nadcap, and PPAP/APQP experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality, or related field required; master’s preferred.
• 5+ years of quality engineering experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of AS9100, Nadcap, compliance requirements, and supplier quality methodologies.
• Experience with PPAP/APQP-based processes and risk-based supplier management.
• Lean/Six Sigma certification strongly preferred; ASQ CQE preferred.
• Ability to interpret drawings/specifications (including MBD) and familiarity with precision measurement methods.

Responsibilities

• Communicate supplier quality standards and expectations to internal teams and suppliers.
• Review and disposition supplier non-conformances; lead containment and corrective actions; support MRB activities.
• Conduct supplier audits, assessments, and surveillance; ensure corrective action closure.
• Lead supplier-focused strategic quality planning and cross-functional initiatives.
• Develop and implement supplier quality strategies and development plans.
• Collaborate with Purchasing to evaluate supplier capability and integrate quality into procurement.
• Utilize analytics and digital quality systems to monitor supplier performance.
• Mentor junior engineers and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support enterprise-level regulatory alignment and quality improvement efforts.
