Job summary

Hanwha Aerospace USA in East Windsor, CT, is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to lead quality systems in aerospace manufacturing. You will implement AS9100, NADCAP, and customer quality requirements, develop sampling plans, and drive continuous improvement across the Quality Department.

The ideal candidate has a manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering degree, 5+ years of aerospace experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams; domestic travel up to 10%

Qualifications

• Requires US Person status and ability to handle ITAR data.
• Bachelor's in Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience as an engineer in a manufacturing environment, aerospace preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AS9100 and NADCAP compliant quality systems.
• Develop sampling plans and process controls for manufacturing.
• Lead quality department in manager's absence and oversee engineers.
• Drive RCCA, PPAP, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform First Article Inspections and PPAP support.
• Coordinate QC/QA activities with suppliers and customers.
