Job summary

Hanwha Aerospace USA is seeking a Quality Engineer in East Windsor, CT. The role reports to the Quality Manager and oversees the quality function for assigned part numbers/family.

Responsibilities include leading PPAP activities, maintaining QMS compliance, and driving continuous process improvements. Requires 4+ years in aerospace manufacturing and the ability to work with ITAR data.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years in manufacturing or aerospace environment.
• Must be a U.S. Person eligible to work with ITAR data.

Responsibilities

• Own quality performance of assigned part numbers/family.
• Create and review FAIRs through net inspect.
• Participation in PPAP from NPI through full approval.
• Ensure QMS procedures are understood and followed to maintain Quality System Approvals.
• Lead internal and external audits (System, NADCAP, Customer).
• Drive RCCA to eliminate quality issues.
