Job summary

Honeywell is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer for the HSS business in Charlotte, NC. The role focuses on improving product and process quality, partnering across Engineering, Operations, Sourcing and Product Management, and ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.

You will lead structured problem solving, drive robust preventive actions, and mentor teams in quality tools. The position is hybrid, with some travel and ITAR considerations for global operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Science, Technology, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in aerospace quality engineering or related regulated industry.
• Experience with AS9100, ISO 9001 and customer quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality planning and execution for products and processes, including new product introduction and post-delivery support.
• Ensure compliance with quality systems and industry standards such as ISO 9001 and AS9100.
• Lead root cause investigations using 8D, 5 Why and Lean Six Sigma tools.
• Analyze quality data and translate findings into improvement plans.
• Drive corrective and preventive actions to reduce defects and cost of poor quality.
• Travel 20-30% domestically or internationally as required.
