Job summary

Skyloom, an IonQ company, is hiring a Senior Quality Engineer to lead AS9100 quality efforts across multiple aerospace programs. You will manage audits, CAPA, supplier quality, and cross‑functional collaboration to ensure product conformance and regulatory compliance.

Join a growing team supporting Skyloom’s space‑focused manufacturing and supplier quality initiatives, onsite at our Colorado office with travel up to 15%. Strong aerospace QA background and AS9100 experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
• 7+ years in Supplier/Manufacturing/Aerospace Quality.
• Experience in aerospace or space industry.
• AS9100 internal audits experience.
• Experience in ISO Class 7/8 cleanrooms.
• OSHA/EHS compliance experience.
• Strong technical writing and interpretation of drawings.
• Knowledge of root cause analysis and supplier quality.
• Knowledge of IPC‑A‑610, J‑STD‑001, ESD.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and continuously improve the AS9100 Quality Management System (QMS).
• Plan and perform audits (internal, supplier, and customer).
• Lead nonconformance management and CAPA.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve quality issues.
• Develop quality metrics and risk assessments.
• Support supplier quality activities and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100 and customer requirements.
• Assist document control and engineering change management.
