Job summary

Voyager Technologies is seeking a Senior Proposal Writer / Proposal Architect to join its Proposal Development Team. The candidate will strategize, architect, and write technical proposals for NASA, the DoW, and other government customers, with opportunities to help engineer technical solutions.

Ideal candidates have a technical background in space systems, strong writing and storytelling skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to craft compelling narratives that win contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, physical sciences, or related technical field.
• 5+ years in aerospace or related field.
• Basic understanding of spacecraft systems and engineering principles.
• Experience writing competitive proposals for funding.

Responsibilities

• Develop technically credible, convincing aerospace proposals for NASA, the DoW, and other customers.
• Draft original content for proposals including product descriptions, specs, and requirements.
• Contribute to proposal win themes, storyboards, and strategic narratives.
• Write executive summaries and other critical proposal sections.
• Interview subject matter experts to gather technical information for proposals.
• Review technical docs and convert into credible proposal content.
• Collaborate with graphic designers to visually present technical content.
• Assemble, review, and edit proposals for accuracy and completeness.
• Address feedback from stakeholders and rework proposal content.
• Mentor and guide other technical writers on the team.]
