Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Phoenix seeks a Senior Advanced Project Engineer to support the E&PS Engines and Power Systems on the APU development and in-service programs for USAF platforms.

You will report to the Sr. Engineering Program Manager and work on a hybrid schedule at our Phoenix site, with relocation support possible. This role requires leading complex projects, managing budgets, and ensuring EVMS compliance and design-for-manufacturability goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline is required.
• Minimum of 6 years of mechanical systems engineering experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of Aerospace industry experience.
• Experience leading complex engineering projects with budgets > $500k.

Responsibilities

• Meet technical performance measures and project-specific process requirements.
• Plan and coordinate all aspects of the assigned engineering work scope.
• Manage requirements, control scope, and execute baseline change management.
• Execute projects within budget (including capital expenditures) and on schedule.
• Communicate project health and status to stakeholders and management.
