Job summary

RTX, a leading aerospace and defense company, seeks a Project Engineering professional for Pratt & Whitney Hot Section Engineering. The role develops plans, tracks budgets, and leads changes to optimize performance. Travel up to 10% may be required in a hybrid work environment.

Requires a Engineering degree and 5 years experience (or 3 years with advanced degree). Strong cross-functional collaboration and program management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Civil or Aerospace Engineering.
• 5+ years of engineering experience or an advanced degree with 3+ years of engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops project plans, schedules and budgets.
• Tracks progress and resolves obstacles to minimize delays.
• Prepare and present status to CIPT and Pratt & Whitney management.
• Analyze data and recommend solutions to optimize performance.
• Lead engineering change execution (Class 1 and Class 2).
• Coordinate with IPT members and authorities on hardware field investigations.
• Support EVMS activities and project management tasks.
• Attend meetings and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
