Job summary

ED Wallach Search Group is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead Stratospheric Balloon and Radar programs from early customer engagement through execution. This highly visible role requires strong technical leadership, program management, customer engagement, and business development skills.

This position interfaces with customers, engineers, operations, contracts, and business development, shaping solutions and balancing scope, cost, schedule, and performance to meet business

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience including leading technical programs
• Experience working with U.S. Government customers, DoD or IC
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; Master’s preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead complex programs with cost, schedule, technical performance, and customer satisfaction accountability.
• Serve as the primary technical and program interface with customers and internal leadership.
• Shape customer requirements and technical approaches during concept, capture, proposal, and execution phases.
• Translate customer needs into clear technical and system-level requirements.
• Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, contracts, supply chain, and business development.
• Develop product architectures, roadmaps, and system integration decisions.
• Participate in design reviews and ensure alignment with requirements and best practices.
• Identify opportunities to expand programs and grow customer relationships.
• Support business development, capture, and proposal efforts with technical input.
