Job summary

ALIGN PRECISION is seeking an experienced program manager to lead major aerospace projects from development through cost performance, per contract requirements. You will drive proposals, manage cross-functional teams, and deliver required reports while ensuring quality and schedule adherence.

The role requires 4+ years in related positions, strong communication, and the ability to coordinate with sales and customers to optimize outcomes. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in a related program management or procurement role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows operating systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; detail oriented and well organized.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide clear objectives and direction in line with project scope.
• Maintain accurate reporting of program performance and scorecards.
• Drive accountability for performance to key objectives.
• Coordinate resource sharing with scheduling.
• Conduct lessons learned reviews with the team.
• Negotiate with customers for expedites and change orders.
• Review make/buy decisions to support cost and schedule.
• Identify cost reduction opportunities including materials and tooling.
• Lead technical inquiries to understand quality issues.
• Resolve customer delays and problems.
• Communicate with customers to verify orders and targets.
• Serve as primary customer contact for on-site and off-site visits.
• Build customer relations through regular contact.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks.
• Ensure programs are adequately resourced.
