Job summary

Advanced Reentry Technologies is seeking a Procurement II to own the Approved Supplier List and drive end-to-end sourcing for aerospace hardware. You will audit vendors, manage purchasing for engineering materials, and ensure compliance with government contracting requirements.

Qualifications

• Typically, 4+ years of direct purchasing or procurement experience in aerospace, defense, or government contracting.
• Experience auditing suppliers for quality assurance and compliance.
• Experience managing end-to-end purchasing and material planning for engineering materials.
• Proficient in MS Office and supplier documentation.
• Ability to translate engineering requirements into procurement actions.

Responsibilities

• Qualify, quote, audit and manage suppliers and specialized vendors.
• Enforce procurement documentation compliance (CoCs, MTs, FAIs).
• Track delivery and quality metrics; drive corrective actions for vendor escapes.
• Prepare negotiations; expedite long-lead hardware; implement dual-sourcing.
• Serve as liaison between internal engineering requirements and vendor capabilities.
• Identify cost savings, reduce lead times, and consolidate suppliers.
• Support inventory planning and avoid obsolescence risk.
• Ensure purchases comply with procurement policies and regulations.
