Inversion, an aerospace and defense innovator, is seeking a Procurement II to own the Approved Supplier List and drive end-to-end sourcing for high-reliability aerospace hardware. You will partner with engineering to translate complex requirements into executable procurement strategies that support aggressive development schedules.

This role focuses on supplier qualification, audits, negotiations, risk mitigation, and ensuring compliance with government contracts and safety standards while

Qualifications

• Typically, 4+ years of direct purchasing or procurement experience within aerospace/defense or government contracting.
• Demonstrated understanding of aerospace and government contract types, compliance requirements, and flow-down clauses.
• Proven ability to independently audit and vet suppliers for quality assurance.
• Experience owning end-to-end purchasing and material-planning for engineering materials, parts, equipment and specialized hardware.
• Highly proficient in MS Office Suite.

Responsabilités

• Qualify, quote, audit and manage suppliers, specialized machine shops, and special-process vendors (heat treat, plating, NDT, etc.).
• Enforce strict supply chain documentation compliance including Certificates of Conformance, Material Test reports, First Article Inspections, etc.
