Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage end-to-end procurement for Power & Controls, ensuring supply continuity and cost competitiveness. You will build strong supplier relationships, execute sourcing strategies, and ensure compliance with policies across programs and engineering, operations, and supply chain functions.

The role requires 5+ years in procurement or related fields, ERP/MRP experience, and strong Excel skills; travel 25-50% to suppliers is expected.

Qualifications

• University degree and 5+ years experience, or advanced degree with 3+ years.
• 5+ years in direct procurement, supply chain, or sourcing.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities for assigned commodities.
• Build and maintain supplier relationships for quality and on-time delivery.
• Execute sourcing strategies aligned with programs and needs.
• Monitor supplier risks, delivery issues, capacity concerns.
• Support contract negotiations and ensure compliance with terms.
• Review demand forecasts and inventory plans to maintain flow of goods.
• Resolve invoice, pricing, PO discrepancies with suppliers and internal partners.
• Maintain procurement records and reporting metrics.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of procurement processes.
• Travel 25%–50% to suppliers.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field

Advanced degree (MS/MBA) in related field
