Job summary

Triumph Systems, Electronics and Controls in West Hartford, CT seeks a Mechanical Product Support Engineer (PSE) to provide operations engineering support from design to manufacturing and assembly/test. You will be the technical expert for assigned product lines and guide relevant engineering activities.

The role emphasizes collaboration with customers, suppliers, and internal teams, opportunities for advancement, and a path within Triumph's engineering organization.

Qualifications

• BSME or equivalent aerospace/technical degree required.
• Read and interpret design drawings; understand GD&T.
• Hands-on troubleshooting with hydromechanical systems and fuel pumps.
• Root cause analysis of failures; dispositioning safety critical components.
• Strong communication and technical writing skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office; able to present technical material.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate aircraft program technical support activities and resolve in-service issues.
• Represent Triumph technically with airline, OEM, and MRO customers.
• Review and disposition non-conforming material; conduct root cause investigations.
• Lead test plans, validation activities, and design assurance tasks.
• Develop maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and deviations authorizations.
• Provide technical support to suppliers, manufacturing, and service centers.
