Superior Aerospace Precision Machining in Minnesota is seeking an experienced Manufacturing / Process Engineer to drive the design, development, and continuous improvement of precision-machined components for aerospace and general aviation.

This hands-on role focuses on ensuring efficient, repeatable production, tooling design, and cost reduction while supporting quality, document control, and production workflows in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of aerospace, aviation, or precision manufacturing experience.
• Strong GD&T (ANSI Y14.5) interpretation required.
• Experience in CNC/machining workflows and routing.
• Proficient in CNC programming and G-code reading.
• Familiarity with CAD tools (Creo, AutoCAD or BricsCAD).

Responsibilities

• Interpret drawings, GD&T callouts, and 3D CAD models.
• Create and manage 2D/3D CAD models.
• Develop and improve CNC and manual machining processes.
• Design tooling, fixtures, and work-holding.
• Build routers, travelers, and time/labor standards.
• Troubleshoot machining, programming, and processes.
• Support quality, document control, and production workflows.
• Collaborate with operators to meet part specs; drive cost reductions.
