Job summary

RTX is seeking a Product Manufacturing Engineer to own the sequence of operations for assigned parts and drive work instruction completion. You will coordinate FAI, PPAP/MRL development, and master scheduling while leading cross-functional communication with Engineering to address production issues.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Manufacturing/Industrial/Materials/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering or equivalent plus 5 years of experience (or an advanced degree with 3 years).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Materials Science, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering or equivalent experience with minimum 5 years relevant experience.
• Advanced Degree with minimum 3 years related work experience.
• US citizenship is required to access information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities

• Own the sequence of operations for assigned parts.
• Drive completion of work instructions.
• Assist in FAI development and coordinate necessary approval documentation.
• Organize and lead PPAP/MRL development on assigned hardware.
• Drive actions to closure.
• Track Product Quality/Cost and identify improvements.
• Own the Integrated Master Schedule for assigned parts and communicate with support groups and ME.
• Be the face of Manufacturing in discussions with Engineering on production issues.
• Provide technical help to Suppliers of part details, tools and consumables.
• Lead with CORE and promote principles to achieve team goals.
• Maintain world-class safety culture and respond to EH&S requirements.
• Promote ethical standards and company policies.
• Provide high-level communication and cooperation with team members.
• Perform other duties as needed by Management.
