Job summary

The Marvin Group (MEC) seeks an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to lead manufacturing planning for Mil-DoD and aerospace components. You will downsize drawings into BOMs, tooling, and processes while coordinating with production, engineering, and suppliers.

The role emphasizes mechanical/electromechanical assemblies and precision finishing. The ideal candidate brings 10+ years in manufacturing engineering, Creo proficiency, GD&T knowledge, and strong documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Aerospace Engineering.
• 10+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience.
• Mil-DoD and aerospace manufacturing background is required.
• CAD experience preferably Creo/ProE.
• Fluent English (read/write).
• Knowledge of manufacturing techniques including casting, machining, sheet metal fabrication, and metal finishing.
• Experience designing jigs/fixtures for assembly.
• Experience writing work instructions, manuals, and training materials.
• Familiarity with MIL-STD documents, GD&T, and ASME Y14.5.
• Ability to create manufacturing plans and BOMs from drawings.

Responsibilities

• Support Production to ensure products are built to specifications and engineering documents.
• Provide feedback to improve product design for ease of manufacturing and cost/time reduction.
• Prepare engineering changes to support manufacturing quality.
• Identify and design tooling to aid production processes.
• Ensure compliance to engineering, customer and company specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine needs in repairs and analysis.
• Review and approve controlled documents (work instructions, specs, procedures).
• Ensure documentation aligns with Quality System requirements.
• Support MRB activities and manufacturing documentation changes.
• Provide design engineering support for mechanical components and assemblies.
