Job summary

Woodward is seeking an Aerospace Controller to own the segment's financial statements, close processes, and control environment. You will partner with leadership to provide financial visibility, improving profitability and cash flow for the Aerospace segment.

You will lead accounting activities, ensure compliance with GAAP, and manage reconciliations, revenue recognition, and cost accounting while collaborating with operations, FP&A, tax, and auditors to support strategic growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required.
• Finance leadership experience in manufacturing or aerospace preferred.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA) a must.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting and financial reporting for the Aerospace segment.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closes and audit readiness.
• Ensure revenue, cost, and inventory accounting accuracy.
• Partner with segment leadership to drive performance.
