Job summary

Woodward Inc. seeks an Aerospace Controller/Segment Controller to own the segment's accounting, close processes, and controls. You will partner with leadership to provide financial visibility, drive performance, and safeguard assets.

Responsibilities include overseeing revenue and cost accounting, coordinating SEC reporting, and leading SOX compliance. Hybrid role with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with leadership in manufacturing or aerospace.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting.
• Experience partnering with executive leadership and leading audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting activities for the aerospace segment and ensure GAAP compliance.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and journal reviews.
• Ensure revenue, inventory, cost accounting, reserves, and accruals accuracy.
• Partner with Aerospace Operations Finance to analyze results and trends.
• Coordinate with corporate for SEC reporting and consolidated filings.
• Drive SOX compliance, remediation, and audit coordination.
