Job summary

Eaton’s IS AER MSD division seeks a Senior Fabrication Technician I for the Orchard Park, NY facility. You will manufacture weldments, aneroid production, and mechanical soldering for aerospace products; maintain a safe work area and assist team members.

The role requires strong fabrication experience, adherence to EH&S standards, and the ability to work on complex welding systems. On-site 7am-3:30pm shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalency.
• 4 years of relevant fabrication/mfg or 6 years combined fabrication/mfg & Military experience.
• Proficient with soldering, GTAW and braze; able to follow work instructions.
• Live within 50 miles of Orchard Park, NY.
• ITAR restricted role; U.S. person status required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety standards.
• Identify opportunities for EHS improvements and waste reduction.
• Assist certified trainers with basic technician training.
• Set up and evaluate complex welding systems and measuring equipment.
• Perform complex fabrication operations and inspect/ test weldments.
• Document test results and maintain data records.
