Job summary

Eaton’s Orchard Park, NY facility is seeking a Senior Fabrication Technician I (2nd Shift). You will manufacture weldments, perform aneroid production, and solder components for aerospace assemblies. Responsibilities include maintaining safety, training peers, and ensuring quality through proper testing.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years fabrication experience or 6+ years combined with military experience, and live within 50 miles of Orchard Park. ITAR compliance is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency; 4+ years fabrication/manufacturing experience or 6+ years combined fabrication and military experience.
• Proficient with solder, GTAW, braze and metal joining processes; follow work instructions without supervision.
• Live within 50 miles of Orchard Park, NY; ITAR restrictions apply; US person required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety standards.
• Identify opportunities for process and safety improvements.
• Assist trainers with basic technician training at current grade.
• Set up and evaluate complex welding systems and measuring equipment.
• Perform moderate to high complexity fabrication operations per written instructions.
• Document test results and certify fabrication inspection processes.
