Job summary

DP Professionals (DPP) is seeking an Aerospace Engineer III for an opportunity with our client in the Aerospace and Defense industry. This onsite role is in Englewood, CO for a 12-month W2 contract.

The successful candidate will lead complex engineering projects, provide technical expertise and mentorship to junior engineers, and drive the development of advanced aerospace systems while coordinating with stakeholders and ensuring adherence to project timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
• Understanding of CFD tools for simulations.
• Experience in multi-disciplinary design teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of advanced aerospace components and systems.
• Conduct and oversee extensive analysis and testing.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Review and approve technical documentation and reports.
• Lead design reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Manage project timelines and resources effectively.
