Qualifications

Title: Aerospace Engineer III


Location: Englewood, CO


Pay Rate: $60/hr


Duration:1 yr extendable

Our client is a leading aerospace and defense organization developing innovative technologies and advanced systems that support critical aerospace and national security missions. We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Engineer III to join their engineering team in Englewood, CO.


In this role, you will lead complex engineering projects, provide technical expertise and mentorship to junior engineers, and contribute to the design, analysis, testing, and development of advanced aerospace systems.


This is an excellent opportunity for an aerospace engineer with a strong background in aerodynamics, CFD, aircraft performance, flight mechanics, or related aerospace disciplines who wants to work on challenging, highly technical programs.


Description – Aerospace Engineer III


  • Lead the design and development of advanced aerospace components and systems.

  • Conduct and oversee engineering analysis, modeling, simulation, and testing.

  • Apply aerospace engineering principles to solve complex technical problems.

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

  • Review and approve technical documentation, engineering reports, and analyses.

  • Lead and participate in technical and design reviews.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout the design and development lifecycle.

  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to achieve technical and program objectives.

  • Support project planning, schedules, resources, and technical deliverables.

  • Ensure engineering activities follow established processes, standards, and best practices.

  • Contribute to the development and improvement of advanced aerospace technologies.


Qualifications – Aerospace Engineer III


  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related engineering discipline.

  • 6+ years of relevant aerospace engineering experience.

  • Strong understanding of aerospace engineering principles and practices.

  • Experience with Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) tools.

  • Experience with Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) or comparable engineering analysis.

  • Experience working in multidisciplinary design and development environments.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical documentation skills.
