Job summary

Magee Technologies (MTech) in the United States is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to lead the design and development of advanced aerospace systems. This on-site role requires mentoring engineers, performing complex analyses, and delivering robust CAD models and drawings using SolidWorks.

US citizenship and a current SECRET security clearance are required. The position offers a full benefits package and on-site work in multiple locations with relocation allowed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• 5-9 years of progressive aerospace or regulated manufacturing experience.
• Experience leading projects and mentoring engineers.
• Proficiency with CAD and model-based design.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and integration of complex aerospace systems from concept through production.
• Serve as technical lead for engineering projects, directing teams and providing oversight.
• Perform complex engineering calculations and simulations.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in design reviews.
• Prepare 3-D models, 2-D drawings, and documentation using SolidWorks.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
