Job summary

Re:Build Manufacturing seeks an Experienced Design Engineer to lead aerospace structure design from concept to production. CAD work will involve CATIA, Inventor, NX, SolidWorks, and Creo for flight-critical assemblies.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate across disciplines, support DoD programs, and contribute to fast-paced development with emphasis on composite and metallic parts, GD&T, and structural testing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven experience designing aerospace structures.
• Engineering degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
• Experience designing composite and metallic parts/assemblies.
• US citizen or permanent resident with ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design primary and secondary aerospace structures and systems.
• Create and deliver CAD models and presentations to customers.
• Communicate across engineering disciplines to drive decisions.
• Identify core issues and develop solutions with cross-team input.
• Lead, mentor, and collaborate with other engineers.
• Develop materials such as BOMs, assemblies, and weight optimizations.
