Job summary

Re:Build Manufacturing, based in the United States, is seeking an Experienced Design Engineer to lead aerospace structure design across concept, prototyping, analysis, and manufacturing stages. You will frequently use multiple CAD packages to translate ideas into actionable models and drawings for DoD-related programs.

The role emphasizes collaboration across disciplines, mentoring peers, and delivering design documentation and optimization data to customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven experience in design engineering for aerospace structures.
• Engineering degree, preferably mechanical or aerospace.
• Demonstrated experience designing composite and metallic parts and assemblies.
• US citizenship or permanent residency with the ability to obtain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design primary and secondary aerospace structures and systems.
• Create and deliver CAD models and presentations to customers.
• Communicate across engineering disciplines to support program decisions.
• Identify core issues, develop solutions, and communicate impacts to teams.
• Lead, mentor, and collaborate with engineers.
• Develop supporting materials such as BOMs and assembly procedures.
