HX5, LLC is seeking an Aerospace Cybersecurity Systems Engineer to join our team in Brook Park, Ohio, supporting the GEARS contract at NASA Glenn Research Center. This role focuses on OT security, risk management, and SSE across NASA Aeronautics programs.

The ideal candidate has strong experience with security requirements, architectures, and collaboration with NASA and industry partners, plus the ability to lead teams and communicate effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited program with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Master of Science degree with 6 to 15 years of relevant experience.
• PhD with 0 to 3 years of relevant experience.
• Proof of U.S. citizenship or US permanent residency and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate agency-wide cybersecurity reporting for Aeronautics.
• Support the Aeronautics IT portfolio technical lead.
• Participate in governance efforts with OCIO and cybersecurity boards.
• Collaborate externally with FAA, industry and standards entities.
