Job summary

Moog Inc. is seeking a Configuration Manager for a hybrid role based in Chatsworth, CA. You will establish and maintain product baselines, administer engineering change processes, and ensure full lifecycle CM oversight across PLM/ERP and document management systems.

Ideal candidates have a engineering/technical background with AS9100 knowledge and 8+ years of CM experience in regulated aerospace programs, with U.S. security clearance being a plus. This role reports to Lead, Product Assurance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Technical Management, or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Configuration Management within aerospace, defense, space, or highly regulated manufacturing environments.
• 8+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• Must have the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
• Demonstrated experience administering engineering change control processes and product baselines.
• Working knowledge of AS9100 quality management requirements.
• Experience supporting government and commercial aerospace programs.
• Proficiency with PLM, ERP, and document management systems.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain product baselines, including functional, allocated, development, product, and as-built configurations.
• Develop and maintain Configuration Management Plans (CMPs) and supporting procedures.
• Manage configuration records throughout the product lifecycle.
• Administer engineering change processes, including ECRs, ECNs, deviations, waivers, and related change documentation.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary reviews to evaluate impacts of proposed changes.
• Support Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) and Change Review Boards (CRBs).
• Provide configuration status reports and metrics to program management and leadership.
• Verify compliance with configuration management requirements established by contracts, standards, and procedures.
