Job summary

Teksky LLC is seeking an experienced Aerospace Manufacturing Lead to support startup, qualification, and ongoing operations of aerospace composite manufacturing processes. You will lead production personnel, coordinate workflow, ensure quality and safety compliance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities include supervising lay-up and autoclave operations, managing schedules, developing work instructions, and mentoring staff to ensure compliance and competency.

Qualifications

• Composite manufacturing experience and prior leadership, lead, trainer, or supervisory experience.
• Aerospace composite manufacturing experience preferred.
• Hands-on knowledge of hand lay-up, vacuum bagging, curing, and autoclave operations.
• Familiarity with manufacturing documentation, engineering drawings, and AS9100 quality systems.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily composite manufacturing activities, including hand lay-up, vacuum bagging, curing, autoclave operations, trimming, and assembly.
• Supervise and coordinate Cutting Table Operators, Lay-Up Technicians, and Autoclave Operators.
• Manage production schedules, workflow, staffing, and productivity to meet customer delivery requirements.
• Develop work instructions, standard operating procedures, and employee training programs.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate manufacturing personnel to ensure process compliance and competency.
• Support equipment startup, process qualification, validation, and first article activities.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Quality teams on troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Maintain compliance with aerospace quality standards, AS9100 requirements, safety protocols, and FOD prevention policies.
