Qualifications

• 3-5 years or more of relevant manufacturing experience, including assembly, layup and composite fabrication.
• Lead experience highly preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical requirements of the job.
• Proficient in safety, quality and lean manufacturing practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide line level leadership to a composite manufacturing team with safety and quality goals.
• Organize production cell workload to meet daily objectives.
• Assign tasks and provide direction to ensure completion.
• Monitor attendance and ensure punctuality of workers.
• Schedule breaks and ensure timely return to workstations.
• Motivate team to maintain productivity and quality.
• Cross-train team members and ensure safe, efficient operations.
• Ensure material readiness and equipment functionality for production lines.
• Act as liaison between team and management for clear communication.
