Job summary

You will interface with customers to optimize how Hexcel materials are processed into advanced parts and you will develop demonstrators using Hexcel products. The role requires hands-on experience with OOA, RTM, AFP, hand layup, compression molding, and related techniques, plus strong collaboration with internal teams and academia.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in composites with aerospace manufacturing experience.
• Experience building composite parts using OOA, RTM, AFP, hand layup, and stamping.
• Willing to travel up to 20% and interface with customers.
• Ability to communicate technical information to both experts and non‑experts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research in aerospace composite materials and processing including autoclave processing and related methods.
• Interface with customers to optimize processing of Hexcel materials and produce demonstrators.
• Act as a liaison between customers and internal Hexcel teams across production, marketing and R&D.
• Evaluate customer proposals and investigate new processing technologies and literature.
• Engage with academia and industry conferences as a subject matter expert.
