Job summary

Hexcel is seeking a Production Operator/Process Associate at our Salt Lake City, UT site. You will support aerospace-grade carbon fiber, resins, and prepregs production, operate and monitor line equipment, and uphold a safety-first culture with PPE usage.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Contribute to safety-first culture with PPE usage.
• Perform manufacturing duties to create carbon fiber, resins, and prepregs.
• Read and document operating parameters per production specs.
• Operate and monitor production machines to ensure quality.
• Detect, report, and correct defective materials.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility.
• Work a rotating 8-to-12 hour shift with potential for 7 consecutive days off each month.
• Urgetly respond to line challenges and work in a team environment.

Hexcel is currently seeking a Production Operator/Process Associate for our Salt Lake City, UT, USA location. The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:

• Contributing to our safety-first culture that includes a consistent use of personal protective equipment to ensure your safety
• Performing manufacturing duties to create world-class carbon fiber, resins, and pre-preg materials used in commercial aerospace, space and defense, and industrial applications
• Reading and documenting operating parameters in accordance with production specifications
• Operating and monitoring production machines to ensure product quality standards
• Accountability to our customers by detecting, reporting and correcting defective materials
• Assisting with maintaining cleanliness and organization of the facility
• Working a rotating 8-to-12-hour shift with the opportunity for 7 consecutive days off each month
• Urgently responding to challenges that arise on the line
• Working in a team environment
