Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering with 10+ years of composite material production and applications.
• MS degree with at least 5 years relevant experience, or equivalent.
• Expertise in composite manufacturing, engineering, materials, and aerospace end-use applications.
• Ability to develop trusted technical relationships with large aerospace OEMs.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% across the Americas and Canada.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-level, customer‑focused technical support across Hexcel’s products, processes, and customer applications.
• Build strong technical relationships with Commercial Aerospace customers throughout the Americas, leading technology reviews and discussions.
• Serve as a key technical liaison between customers and Hexcel, voicing customer needs to Sales, Production, Marketing, Product Management, and R&T teams.
• Partner with customers at their sites to troubleshoot technical challenges, optimize product applications, and expand Hexcel material use.
• Leverage expertise across Hexcel’s products and processes to solve complex material and processing challenges.
• Guide customers on material selection and processing techniques across Commercial Aerospace and Space & Defense applications.
• Support material qualifications, new product development, and introduction of new technologies with key customers.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, and R&T to translate emerging customer needs into new products and applications.
• Maintain knowledge of competitive materials and industry trends to inform future Hexcel technology development.
• Independently manage customer engagements, technical inquiries, and customer visits.
