Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Sr Specialist, CAD Design (Aerospace Design) in Wilmington, MA to develop and document aerospace CAD models from concept through final documentation, maintaining data integrity in PLM and CAD tools.

You will manage large, complex models, implement data changes, and support program milestones while collaborating with cross‑functional teams; relocation assistance is available and an active security clearance is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in design/CAD with 6+ years of relevant experience; graduate degree with 4+ years preferred.
• Experience using PTC CREO, Oracle Agile PLM or PTC Windchill, and GD&T in Aerospace design environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain solid models aligned with L3Harris processes.
• Develop documentation (drawings, etc.) as part of product data.
• Implement changes to product data based on guidance from the program team.
• Assist program teams in major milestones (reviews).
• Assist programs in task development as appropriate.
• Assist the development of proposals.
• Manage large and complex CAD models and their data.
• Ability to obtain a US security clearance.
