Job summary

L3 Harris Technologies in Waco, Texas, seeks an Associate Engineer, Mechanical (Design) to develop and integrate aircraft structures using 3D CAD across programs. You will participate in concept, detail design, manufacturing support, and post-installation follow-up with customers.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and eligibility for a DoD security clearance; CREO/NX experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
• Experience with 3D CAD tools preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Design and liaison of aircraft primary and secondary structure using 3D CAD.
• Provide liaison to production for interpretation of drawings.
• Prepare and release engineering drawings within schedule and budget.
• Document and review designs with peers, management, customers.
