Job summary

Qualifications

• Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD is required.
• Familiarity with IPC standards for electronic packaging is a plus.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and material properties.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Create precise 3D models and 2D drawings of electronic packaging components and assemblies using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Collaborate with engineers to understand design requirements and implement design changes.
• Update and maintain the accuracy of drawings and documentation with design changes.
• Ensure drawings and models comply with industry standards, company standards, and customer specs.
• Prepare BOMs and documentation packages for production and assembly.
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical support to engineering.
• Manage CAD files and drawing databases.
• Work with manufacturing and quality to troubleshoot production issues.
• Continuously improve drafting processes to increase efficiency and quality.
