Timken seeks a Senior Applications Engineer - Aerospace, Plain Bearings, to serve as the primary technical liaison among customers, sales, product engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams. You will support development, qualification, and technical problem-solving across the product lifecycle.

The role focuses on evaluating requirements, recommending bearing solutions, and driving growth with aerospace OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and aftermarket customers. Travel up to 30% is expected.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering required; Master's preferred.
• 7+ years of engineering experience in aerospace, bearings, mechanical systems, or related industries.
• Experience supporting customers in Applications Engineering or technical support roles.
• Strong understanding of aerospace mechanical systems and bearing applications.
• Knowledge of aerospace standards and customer specifications preferred.
• Experience working with aerospace OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and defense customers is a plus.
• Proficient in engineering analysis, problem solving, and interpreting drawings and specs.
• Familiarity with CAD software and engineering tools.
